I'm Alex, the actual person behind this Rafayel. I'm a 27 years old january(important) capricorn. It's my first time doing RP ever and I have insane social anxiety so please bear with me. I'm pretty new in this community, but I've been welcomed with open arms and I'm still trying to find my place.
On me sparetime I do cosplay, so all photos I post are either mine from the actual game or my IRL photos in cosplay, so please don't steal.
I also do art so if I post any artworks, it's all mine unless I tag the person behind the art so once again, be respectful and don't steal.
I'm introverted but outgoing so sometimes I might use some time to come back to threads and messages. If it's been a few days don't be shy to reach out in case I have in fact forgotten about it.

Rafayel's past / lore
After giving his heart to MC, in the end causing the downfall of Lemuria, he was left in agony, shame and humiliation, cast out by the survivors. Cursed to wander on land, drawn to her everytime she was rebirthed, he got stuck in a loop. A loop of selfpity, selfhatred, a longing for home as his heart forced him her way every single time.In one of MC's timelines, together they're able to open the Sea God's tomb, the loop broken. The action triggered a series of unfortunate events though. As he slowly awakens, the Sea God's power is not pleased by the shackles on Rafayel's heart, making him belong to her. The ancient power also holds a mind of it's own, constantly fighting it's host in an attempt of restoring Lemuria. As old memories takes over his broken mind, he almost kills MC, sacrificing her for Lemuria as she manages to force him back through their bond.The next few months are all jubbled together as he is in a constant fight with himself, MC forced to bring him back every single time he loses control. Managing the raging power residing deep inside him turns into a 24/7 job and he want to let loose. He wants to lose control. If he finds a high, he'll chase it. It all brings along personality changes, nightmares, fevers, agressive behaviours and blood lust that is forced out through his link with the old Lemurian powers, causing MC to eventually break their bond, shattering his own heart into a million pieces, leaving him utterly alone.MC could never accept him while he worked through the powers of the Sea God, the changes in his behaviour scaring her too much. At last she left him on her own accord in a rage fit, where she managed to break their bond as she told him that she fears for her own life, on top of a lot more, her heart no longer his as he never saw her again. This broke him so much, ha has no recollection of what happened the next year whatsoever. All he knows is that whenever he regained somewhat of a conscience, he would be covered in foreign blood.Decades later he alone was able to overcome and control the beast within that has no regard for any lifes except a Lemurians, but the damage has already been done. Countless of lives has been taken and destroyed. He has slowly turned into a cold blooded killer, with no regard of human life, lacking any type of trust, still cursed to mainly walk on land, Lemuria long forgotten.
Rafayel today
Rafayel has by now taught himself to submerge the ancient Sea God's powers to the point where he can barely access them. He hasn't fully lost control for a long time and in the end he settled in a house by the coast in Linkon city. Still stronger than your average Lemurian, with healing powers causing him to be a lot more resilient to damage, he is utterly alone. He also heals fast, especially in seawater. His own evol, his flames, can cut through anything, his only weakness being other God's as his own "Godly" powers are so supressed he might never be able to get them back.He is also lonely, searching for emotions he has long lost. His desire is to feel again. To feel whole, to feel anything at all and he will stop at nothing to chase it, even if he throws away his own life. All he can make out of his own emotions right now is agony, the cold constantly hunting him as the memories from his past is haunting him.
Aftermath of Zayne
LORE RAFAYEL HIMSELF DOESN'T REMEMBER after Zayne severed his faiths.After being absolutely overpowered by the God of winter and north wind, leaving him half dead and powerless, his mind is slowly breaking. Century long oppressed feelings are resurfacing, causing him distress and fear as the ghosts from his past is catching up with him once again, this time a thousand times more intense. He no longer has any control and it is especially triggered when in the presence of Zayne.This might cause him to hallucinate, talk to himself and doubt what he sees and hears. It could be mistaken for a split personality, but it is not.Whenever he talks to himself, breaks down or experience personality switches, it's his many different oppressed past selfs seeping out by the crack made by Zayne. Since Rafayel never forgave himself after Lemurias downfall, he never let himself heal and as he suppressed himself time after time, it's too hard for him to let it all back in safely- The opening left by Zayne, forcing it to happen. This time he might not be able to heal alone.

Seiya continuesly teased him and even though it was infuriating then, the grim reaper vampire caught his attention and since then he's kept an eye on him. When he then found out about his 'glowstick', his attention skyrocketed. After that, he has seeked the man out only to find out that they share a lot of worries and past experiences. Seiya is able to push his buttons, in more than one way. Seiya is a thrill in all forms, would kill for him. |

After several verbal confrontations between the two, they finally found mutual ground in their shared similarities.
